Gather market data and trends as well as monitor social media closely
Research into new technologies, seasonal trends, competition and products/market
Provide market intelligence to the business to develop new trends and bring newness to the business
Responsible for the development process of fabrics and trims
Establish and maintain close relationships with Apparel Development, Product Management, Design, Innovation Team, Sourcing and external partners/suppliers, Material Management Team, Technical Team and respective Fabric Developer at Source
Provide Development, Product Management and Design with new ideas as well as technical and commercial expertise
Update and maintain the material systems with product specifications
Follow up on allover print developments and support with global fabric and trim initiatives and projects.
YOUR TALENTGraduate Engineer in Textile / Clothing Technology or similar education
At least 3-5 years of experience in apparel/ materials development in the sports industry
Very good knowledge of the product/ material development process
Proven project management experience
Creative and innovative thinking
Strong communication skills and cultural awareness
Excellent English skills
