YOUR MISSIONLead the charge to create innovative, market-leading, consumer-benefit driven performance footwear.
Create long term strategic business plan to break through in the global performance running market.
Manage team of 2-3 running footwear Product Line Managers (PLM)
Work closely with the Head of the BU and Marketing team to create strategy.
Lead the overall POD teams (design/development) in the creation of short and long-term strategies, tactical product executions and innovations that position PUMA as the leader in Running.
Execute and manage the assigned product process from clear briefs to range launch.
Provide briefs which give clear product direction and information to the development and design partners.
Meet category financial targets as set by the corporation.
Analyze and report category business performance
Presentations of the ranges, both internally to Puma merchandising and sales, and externally to key retailers / partners.
Build relationships and work directly with Run Specialty and Sporting goods retailers to develop Pumas credibility in the Running market.
Develop and manage an effective working relationship between merchandising, sales and marketing to effectively plan new product introductions.
Travel domestically and internationally to build market / retailer network for consistent product feedback in our key markets.
Liaise with PUMA promotion partners to ensure best product service according to athlete needs.


YOUR TALENTBachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance.
Minimum 8+ years international footwear product management experience with top tier international sports company, with 2-3 years management experience required.
Prior experience managing a footwear product line.
Direct, credible experience in Performance Running Footwear with in depth knowledge of the Running market, key retailers, competitive and consumer needs.
Excellent communication and speaking skills sell the vision for the category.
General knowledge of international retail environment.
Strong leadership skills. High initiative, high energy, passionate, decisive, eye for detail, confident.
Strong analytical, overall business orientation.
Ability to frame and defend an alternative position.
General technical product knowledge.
International travel up to 15%.
