YOUR MISSIONThis position is supporting the COBRA PUMA GOLF brand.
Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by leading and facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, marketing and finance personnel
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
Review sales plans, customer finance Budget Updates or Latest Estimates and demand drivers by leading the monthly S&OP process
Drive continued improvement efforts (i.e. KPIs, Tools and Processes)
Collaborate with Supply Planning and Sales Operations to improve Customer Service Levels via balancing supply and demand. Identify inventory shortages and communicate with sales and procurement organizations in order to expedite shipment of product in order to achieve higher levels of customer service
Responsible for driving the Global Capacity Planning efforts with the supply base (Tier 1 suppliers)
Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs geared in support of sales plans.
Support efforts to optimize inventory throughout the product lifecycle of the different product lines identifying risks and opportunities and driving actions for resolution
Develop alternative solutions to proactively identify and manage excess inventory.
YOUR TALENT5+ years experience in Demand or Sales & Operations Planning
Bachelors Degree in Business or a related field
Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process. Good facilitation skills are required with the ability to operate effectively at all levels within the organization.
Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
APICS, IBF, or similar related accreditation preferred.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Powerpoint
Knowledge of ERP/ MRP, Forecast Models, Inventory Strategies, and Sales and Operations Planning, desired
