YOUR MISSIONThis position support the COBRA PUMA GOLF brand in Carlsbad, CA
Coordinate with the US and Canadian eComm teams to ensure accurate P&L presentation and reliable forecasting / budgeting.
Assist with both high level and detailed sales and margin analysis for budgeting / forecasting.
Assist with Inventory open to buy forecasts and inventory costing analysis.
Partner with the sourcing department to provide financial modeling support for sourcing changes.
Go-In margin analysis for both soft goods and hard goods.
Internal audit tasks including tracking of markdowns, cancellations, discounts, promotional product, returns, etc.
Partnership with the manufacturing team for monthly controlling and financial performance reviews.
Designing, writing, and testing detailed financial analysis reports.
Database Support: Understanding the internal configurations of the local ERP system which drives financial data to our data warehouse. This data support entails understanding queries, data tables, and problem solving when datasets misalign with SOPs.
Cross departmental support for financial modeling needs.
Assist in accounting month end close activities as needed.
Power BI: create, distribute, and maintain both new and existing Power BI reports within the finance and accounting department. Cross departmental support as needed.
YOUR TALENT2-4 years of financial analysis experience
Expert in Excel.
Previous exposure to PowerQuery, PowerPivot, and Power BI
Previous exposure in DAX coding and M Language
Ability to navigate and effectively/efficiently summarize large datasets
Positive attitude, detail-oriented and extremely organized
Proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize workload
Ability to develop productive working relationships with non-financial managers
Excellent communication skills
