agron, inc., based in West Los Angeles, CA, is the official licensee for adidas accessories America.

We design and develop hats, bags, socks, under wear, hydration and sport accessories for adidas and we're looking for a new Product Developer.

**Please note - you MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE as a developer in the same product categories or very close in similarity to be a fit. If you don't have that experience this is not the right fit for you.**

Products are designed and developed specifically for performance athletes and those living the athletic lifestyle. A team comprised of a designer, marketer and developer work collaboratively to build the best product for our consumers. In this team environment the shared values of perspective, accountability, collaboration, trust, and respect are integral elements of agron’s product process and culture.

In that spirit we are looking for an extremely organized bag/pack Product Developer to complement our development department during maternity leave (minimum 6 months) with temp to perm hiring goals.

Job Requirements within product category:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Bag/Pack product development
• Knowledge of bag & pack construction, materials and trims.
• Understand Financial Sku productivity and cost management of product; help to guide team to find creative cost savings.
• Manage Factory relationships; daily communication and understanding of factory capabilities.
• Work within product development calendar and have ability to work within multiple timelines
• Ability to create specs, BOM’s, through a Product line management system and keep information up to date including costing, material library information, lab dip requests, etc.
• Send specs to factories, request and track proto types, and keep team up to date.
• Collaborate in Creation & Management of Material Toolbox seasonally: proto new options, address requests and bring newness to the team by working direct with mills / trim vendors
• Testing – materials and product testing knowledge.
• Possible overseas travel to factories for product development trips
• Possible Trade show attendance – US / Asia - travel
