General Summary

The Production Coordinator is key member of our Product Development and Production team. In this role, you will develop and oversee the production lifecycle from time of development handover to receipt of product in the DC. The Production Coordinator is responsible for order placement, execution and follow up with vendor and manufacturing partners to ensure on-time delivery of quality product while exceeding margin goals and maintaining product integrity. In this role you are the key point person for development, execution, and communication of the production and supply chain related initiatives. The Production Coordinator is a key partner to cross functional teams including Product Development, Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Planning, Sales and Operations.


Essential Job Functions

•Monitor all production to ensure that goods are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with SG quality standards.
•Effectively plan and manage multiple seasons and projects from design handover through development, costing, and commercialization
•Adhere to production calendar to meet target delivery dates for all in line bulk, collaborations, and SMU product.
•Serve as key point person for production, logistics, testing, compliance, and quality programs.
•Work with factories to ensure production schedule is on time and SG quality is met through regular communication with vendors and manufacturing partners.
•Track and review all incoming development and provide timely comments to ensure product accuracy and integrity. Confirm updates are made in system to reflect any changes/comments made.
•Collaborate with tech and establish due dates for all fit samples so bulk production is on time,
•Make sure all sample to bulk changes are made and approved by design in the bulk process.
•Manage bulk orders and development of all trims.
•Track all trim inventory and project future needs; input all trims in the system for tech packs.
•Manage and check all BOMS for bulk styles and PO’s.
•Issue and manage all bulk purchase orders to factories.
•Communicate and follow up with vendors to ensure production samples [PPS and TOPS] are executed correctly and arrive in-house on time for the appropriate production timeline.
•Manage all WIP and Inbound Logistics requirements and accurately update in ERP system.
•Participate in sourcing decisions based on volume, technique, fabrication and cost
•Understand and ensure vendor compliance of all customer VAS, testing, and other related requirements.
•Review test reports seasonally and problem solve where needed to make sure SG quality is met and all tests have passed the requirements.
•Assist in the onboarding of all production vendors and ensure compliance with SG standards on an ongoing basis.
•Coordinate shipping timelines and work alongside with shipping team to ensure all product arrives on time
•Continuously work to reduce SG lead times and to improve speed and flexibility to the company’s supply chain.
•Ensure that all aspects of production are conducted in the most responsible and sustainable manner possible.
•Collaborate with Merchandising and Development teams to ensure accurate data integrity throughout the product lifestyle process.
•Oversee KPI tracking, reporting and scorecards for all vendors.
•Partner with Director on the Production team’s annual budget.

Job Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

•Understand the product creation process from development hand off to production.
•Knowledge of garment development, construction, fabric and materials.
•Knowledge of production, manufacturing, quality and compliance standards and processes.
•Ability to ensure sustainable practices throughout supply chain.
•Experience working with Full Circle ERP system.
•Problem-solving skills and exceptional ability to identify and improve processes.
•Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.
•Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
•Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately to ensure deadlines are met.
•Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Must be able to work effectively across multiple functions with business colleagues domestically and internationally.


Required Education and Experience

•Bachelor’s Degree – Design or Merchandising or equivalent experience/training.
•3- 5 years of experience in product development and apparel production
•Experience with domestic and international production.
• Intermediate computer skills with emphasis on MS Office software, Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge in Illustrator is a plus.
•Full Circle knowledge a plus

Our Hybrid positions are expected to be in-office 2-3 days per week. Hybrid schedules may fluctuate at the discretion of the manager, department, or company.

Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and employees.
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products.
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type and use technical sources.
