General Summary

The person in this position will collaborate and work with our Design Director and Collection Associate Designer to build on the foundation of seasonal designs for women’s collection categories. The primary job function is to concept/design, create tech packs and flat sketches and maintain seasonal Visual Line Plans as needed for development and production. You will work with cross-functional teams including Design, Product Development, and Technical Design.


Essential Job Functions

•Responsible for the design and execution of women’s lifestyle collection (~120 skus per
season), cut & sew knits, outerwear, sweaters, soft accessories and capsule collaborations
•Collaborate with Director of Design to determine seasonal messaging and color palette
•Research trends/concepts/fabrics and put together design boards for Women’s
collection and accessories
•Collaborate with Graphic Designer to determine seasonal graphic direction
•Color and merchandise each delivery of the season to fit design sku plan creating
compelling merchandised stories across deliveries
•Manage and grow Associate Designer through the development process
•Audit style TP to ensure accurate information/details are properly handed over and
communicated to vendor and tech designers
•Create pitch sheets for new trims to pass to PD for development
•Maintain all seasonal collateral (vlps/tp and sketch updates), check over work for accuracy and adhere to deadlines
•Create seasonal new product knowledge/style description decks
•Partner with PD and Director of Design to give fabric, trim, and lab dip comments
•Attend all fittings (2x a week in person) to make sure design intention and brand identity
is maintained
