Senior Mens Designer Job in Irvine , CA

Spiritual Gangster is looking for a senior level creative apparel designer, who will help design the young men’s sportswear line. We are seeking an individual who will work well with the creative team in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude, is quality driven and pays close attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate well with all departments, including Merchandising, Sales, Marketing and Sourcing, on collaborating efforts.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for concept and execution of all aspects of the men’s line.
• Responsible for fit, quality and technical execution of product.
• Responsible for all cads, tech sketches, matrixes, boms, and tech packs.
• Provide creative direction to graphics team for all art requests.
• Manage all aspects of Men’s line including: fittings, reviewing strike-offs, comments to sourcing, follow
up, handovers and research.
• Communicate clear ideas and stay on top of who your customer is via research & shopping.
• Responsible for presenting to management in meetings.
• Must be proficient in doing complete tech packs in Illustrator format.
• Responsible for creating color cads and descriptions of garments for final line guides.
