Spiritual Gangster is looking for a superstar employee with proven digital marketing and social media experience to oversee all aspects of social media for the brand. The Social Media Manager reports to Director of Marketing and serves as the voice and visual communicator behind the brand.
Experience in graphic design, photography in the Fashion & Lifestyle industry required.
Responsibilities:
• Develop innovative, effective, on-going social media plan/strategy across all channels of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat and more) and continually update that plan/strategy and related activity based on emerging trends, events and opportunities. Monitor/interpret/leverage all social media trends.
• Create and produce stories and visual content for Spiritual Gangster blog and all social media platforms on a daily basis
• Directly manage the brands day-to-day social media activities concerning its social media platforms. This includes planning an editorial calendar and creating content to support that calendar. Directly monitor/engage customers via social media platforms, fostering conversations and relationships.
• Write, copy edit and proofread editorial content.
• Manage photoshoots for social media content
• Work closely with influencers to produce and execute content stories promoting health, yoga, fashion and lifestyle for the brand.
• Travel to events to cover relevant brand stories.
• Monitor trends in social media tools, culture, applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing usage of social media.
• Work closely with the design and marketing teams to promote product engagement and sales.
• Measure and analyze effectiveness of social campaigns and traffic brought to the brand’s site in an effort to maximize predetermined results
