As the Senior Director of Growth at Avid4 Adventure, you will become part of a team of people who all share the belief that participation in the outdoors has the power to transform kids' lives. Our programs empower pre-K - 12th graders with the skills and confidence to live active, healthy lifestyles as they learn to paddle, bike, hike, climb and thrive in the outdoors.

The Sr. Director of Growth is the leader of our marketing team, the driver of our growth strategies, and the keeper of the Avid4 brand. You will be responsible for overseeing company growth initiatives and supervising the marketing department. You will work closely with the executive team to identify partners, manage relationships and set strategy to launch partnerships for continuous growth, as well as being responsible for planning and executing other initiatives to meet company growth goals. The Sr. Director of Growth sits on the senior leadership team and reports to the CEO.

You love crafting a story and putting together strategy and content that engages and drives customers to take action whether it's an email about outdoor recreation areas, a video about teaching a kid to ride a bike, inspirational photos, or a strong landing page. You truly get the Avid4 Adventure mission and are able to compose effective, lead nurturing campaigns that bring new customers into the Avid4 Adventure brand.

You will be managing a small team and also working closely and collaboratively with all of our departments. You excel at leading and empowering others, and you thrive in environments where you need to be the bridge of understanding and connection.

Core Responsibilities:
- Help senior leadership team vet potential growth initiatives with forecasts and projections.
- Collaborate across departments to lead and support long-term growth vision.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop Avid4 Adventure's overall marketing strategy to achieve company's revenue and enrollment goals for day camps, overnight camp, expeditions, school programs, merchandise sales, and events.
- Oversee growth initiatives, including enhancing our digital and grassroots strategies for achieving registration and revenue growth goals.
- Develop and oversee the annual marketing team budget.
- Revise and execute on a creative, enthralling, and effective grassroots strategy that drives growth through referrals and word of mouth.
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable members of the marketing team.
- Other responsibilities directed by the CEO as needed.

Work Schedule & Benefits:
- The Director of Growth will work at Avid4 Adventure's office located at in Boulder, CO, and also has flexibility to work from home as needed.
- Salary is commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience working with HubSpot or similar automation software.
- At least 3 years experience working with WordPress or equivalent CMS.
- At least 3 years of experience managing a happy, productive, and connected team.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience using storytelling, creativity, pictures/video, etc to grow sales.
- Demonstrated experience conducting lead nurturing campaigns with quantifiable results.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing metric-driven intelligence.
- You already love and live the Avid Core Values.

Preferred Experience:
- Track record of B2C growth in sales/revenue.
- Significant experience in the outdoors - either professionally or personally. Ideally, you have genuine experience and interest in engaging in one or more of our core sports (biking, hiking, paddling, climbing).
