GPG is in search of a CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE to join the team in Carlsbad, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY //
This position offers a great opportunity for a dependable individual to join our hardworking and passionate team as a full-time, Customer Service Associate. The right candidate will have experience with e-commerce business models, be customer service oriented, energetic, organized, and able to get up to speed quickly. Only individuals with a strong work ethic, verifiable references, and a “customer first” mindset need apply!

Essential Functions //
• Manage a high volume of customer support email inquiries (100+ daily) and the occasional phone inquiry
• Handling daily customer returns including reporting and processing of inventory back to stock.
• Respond promptly to customer emails with developed product knowledge information
• Effectively communicate product warranty policy and repair service process to customers
• Provide latest product knowledge related to website offerings and product availability
• Assist with inventory counts on an as-needed basis
• Use strong problem solving skills to find creative solutions to various job related tasks
• Multitasking in a fast paced environment
• Manage customer service team members

Job Requirements

Qualifications //
• High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
• 1-2 years prior Customer Service experience in an office setting preferred but will consider candidates with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service in non-office settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Computer savvy and comfortable navigating programs such as order processing portals, e-commerce sites, and CRM software a plus.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Ability to type 40 WPM.
• Non-Exempt Hourly / Full-time / Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
