We are in search of a highly self-motivated Art Director to join our team based in the Newport Beach, CA office.

Position Summary:
In this role, you will develop and apply creative marketing assets to all internal and external communication of the Banks Journal brand.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop an ongoing, multi-season campaign.
• Work with a global team to develop creative concepts and executions of assigned products.
• Lead photo shoots including prep, bookings, arranging talent, styling, and editing whilst managing budgets
• Ability to present marketing material to Senior Management, sales teams, media and retail partners
• Manage all junior members of creative marketing team
• Maintain modern and relevant understanding of broader social, digital, fashion and consumer trends
• Window / POP design
• Sales Catalogs, Look Book and Marketing Books
• All Go to Market Creative Deliverables
• Consult and work together with copy writing on language usage
• Creation and updating of logo usage and brand guidelines
Job Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience working in a similar position
• Previously worked for marketing department in a clothing label
• Exceptional knowledge of entire Adobe suite
• Well versed in photography and videography terminology
• Deep knowledge of graphic design including typography and page layout
• Hard working, creative with attention to detail
• Out of the box thinking with a keen eye for creative and marketing trends
• Collaborative & flexible with a strong point of view and communication skills
• Awareness of current advertising, design, digital and fashion trend and technology
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines and communicate on a global scale
• Ability to travel oversees 2- 3 times a year to work on campaign shoots and global marketing actives
• Ability to be flexible in working late evenings/early mornings, when needed to meet project deadlines
• Can mentor and manage a growing creative team
• Knowledge of online UX design
