As Senior Manager, Engineering Program Management in the Operations department, you will have one of the most critical roles at the company. You will lead a team of Engineering Program Managers that are responsible for sustaining the best-in-class, tough-as-nails product that YETI is known for. This individual will interface with workstream and business owners within Procurement, Quality, Engineering, IT, Product, Finance, Legal, and beyond to define, plan, and execute programs that support the strategic goals of the organization. This role will be focused on technical projects in a fast-paced environment. This person will support all products, across all categories, across all our global supply chain.

Responsibilities:


Accountable for the health and success of all programs and their interrelated projects from start to finish

Guide a team of Engineering Program Managers who are responsible to lead multiple programs from business case to production launch

Manage resources according to business needs and priorities

Set team goals and objectives, create development plans, and oversee performance assessment process

Build constructive business relationships across the organization and with external vendors

Develop, implement, and improve processes, techniques, tools, and templates used by the team

Partner with Procurement and Customization to forecast long term planning of products and sustaining projects

Effectively and efficiently communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership via presentations, dashboards, email, verbal, etc.




Qualifications and Attributes:


Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or STEM-related field

At least 8 years of experience in Engineering Program Management with a proven track record of successfully managing projects to completion

At least 4 years of people management experience.

Innovative and creative problem solver with meticulous attention to detail and a stickler for time management

Open to bi-directional feedback and able to apply it to improve themselves, their team, and YETI

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, ability to filter and distill the relevant information to the right audience

Comfortable with change and ambiguity with the ability to quickly propose solutions given limited guidance

Skilled in simplifying the complex, communicating with technical and non-technical team members effectively

Experience in engineering, manufacturing, and production is a plus

Consumer product experience is a plus

PMP certification is a plus
