The Chief Information Officer (CIO) serves as YETI’s top technology leader. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing YETI’s global IT initiatives. This individual will also work with internal customers to streamline business processes across the organization leveraging technology. Located in Austin, Texas, this role will report into our Chief Financial Officer.
 
Additional Responsibilities:
 
• Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve company goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization. • Develop a long-term technology road map along with interim plans to provide immediate short-term improvements in existing systems. Continually monitor the plan and revise as needed to anticipate and adequately meet future needs. • Lead a team of approximately 40 IT professionals focusing on motivating, developing and retaining a world class IT organization. • Balance strategy and execution and work closely with the leadership team to deliver business outcomes through the alignment of resources and technology that overcome challenges and meet opportunities. • Partner with the business to develop global strategies that decrease time to market, optimize supply and demand, and increase overall bottom line profitability. • Establish and maintain strategic IT service provider partnerships. • Advise and recommend opportunities to optimize service levels and cross-collaboration between IT and business leaders. • Build best in class capabilities across application engineering, digital engagement, data science, security, operations, infrastructure & cloud, strategic planning, partnerships, customer & employee experience and leadership and team development. • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including PCs, laptop computers, tablets and other mobile devices, servers, operating systems, applications, hardware, software, and peripherals. • Lead the firm’s technology committee and gain consensus for new technologies and policies. • Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development.
 
Requirements: 
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or related degree. MBA preferred. • At least 20 years of IT experience in roles with increased levels of leadership responsibilities. Acting CIO   candidates with global experience will be prioritized. • Executive presence and the ability to effectively communicate across varying audiences. • Experience working within global environments that are experiencing massive growth and global expansion. • Consumer product and retail industry experience required. • Passion for building outstanding teams and creating an environment where individuals can do their best work. • Strong business and commercial acumen. • Experience scaling and integrating global supply chain and logistics technology platforms. • Ability to create a technology road map that will scale and meet current and future business needs.
