The Director, eCommerce will be responsible for establishing strategic direction for current and future business growth of YETI.com.  Reporting to the VP of eCommerce, you will help develop the strategic direction to achieve double digit direct to consumer revenue growth, expand the desktop and mobile platform internationally, establish a UX lab for real time feedback and optimization and integrate data insights and analytics for targeted merchandising. This is a senior level strategic position in the company that will collaborate with various Yeti teams and departments to achieve company goals.
 
Additional Responsibilities:   
 
Oversee strategy for new business growth development of YETI.com.
Establish and grow international sites under the Yeti.com platform.
Define and manage a seasonal, monthly and weekly site content calendar in partnership with the  Marketing and Merchandising teams to ensure freshness, relevancy and appropriate balance of brand storytelling and commerce.
Manage briefing, planning, requesting, publishing and measurement processes with internal and external partners.
Develop a strategy for content optimization and personalization to meet online business objectives.
Work with inside design and development agencies, outside technical teams and business partners to continue to evolve the digital experience for YETI’s consumers and resolve friction points or technical gaps with site performance. 
Manage website design and development teams from initial inception to delivery.
Work closely with internal and external team members on exceptional execution on consumer desktop & mobile websites, ensuring that best practices and procedures for online functionality (UI/UX) are understood and implemented.
Budget forecasting and accountability as well as expense tracking and P&L management for eCommerce division.
Research, development and implementation of new digital and interactive initiatives that support both online and in-store consumer activity.
Strategize and deploy product launches across digital platforms.
Develop merchandising recommendations based on customer insights and analytics.
Optimize content and design to reduce bounce rate and increase conversion and time on page.
Identify areas and opportunities to improve the customer journey through new and emerging tools and technologies.
Develop the talent of the team by providing: coaching/counseling, performance management, development, feedback and training. Will eventually lead a team of 4-6.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related degree and 8-10 years of experience in consumer eCommerce, site merchandising, and/or marketing for top-tier consumer and/or retail brands. At least 6 years in a leadership capacity.
Knowledge of global markets and experiencing optimizing sites in key strategic countries (Japan, UK, France, Germany, Canada and China)
Experience with tools and technologies used for website management (i.e. CMS, eCommerce platforms, html).
Experience working with creative teams and developing efficient processes for feedback and collaboration.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills along with data-driven decision-making skills.
Strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
Exceptional ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Passion for the brand and a desire to bring products and brands to life through a site experience.
Well-versed in site analytics and proficient in leveraging data for decision making.
Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage vendors and budgets.
Proven ability to meet deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to partner well cross-functionally and build strong relationships; collaborative working style.
Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, HTML, project management tools (Asana), Jira, A/B Testing applications, CSS Google Analytics  and JavaScripting.
Experience with UX procedures and UX design protocols.
Strong drive towards innovation and continuous improvement.
Ability to succeed in a changing, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
