The Trade Marketing Coordinator will report into the National Sales Manager and will be based in our Melbourne, Australia office. This role has multiple functions and the incumbent will be highly skilled across all platforms necessary to drive sell-through of YETI products across our multi-channeled dealer network. You will be responsible for ensuring the YETI brand and product line are represented best in class and professionally promoted throughout retail customers’ stores, digital, and social platforms. You will also work closely with key accounts and their merchandising teams. This role is critical in ensuring we are deploying visual merchandising assets, including fixtures, signage, digital images, across YETI’s dealer base consistently and effectively. Evaluating sell-through in channel and pulling appropriate Account Marketing levers such as dealer clinics, in-store events, consumer facing events to push to sales goals and drive revenue for our dealer partners.
Responsibilities:
Extensive communication with Sales Manager in order to forecast visual merchandising needs and drive adoption of the ordering web portal for all physical assets
Product/brand training asset briefing and deployment in printed (e.g., training manuals) and digital forms (e.g., on third party and YETI training platforms)
Occasional travel to trade shows and other dealer events to support training and dealer customer interaction
Secure the highest share of space, within key destination doors and locations.
Partner with Key Account VM’s to ensure global strategy is executed.
Plan Product Launches at assigned customers/customer groups effectively leveraging and synchronizing in-store, digital, social, event platforms and campaigns.
Work closely with National Sales team on opportunities related to each region.
Execute POS and Fixture programs from creation, prototyping, shipping, to installation.
Create EDM’s for dealer communications and brand messaging.
Maintain and manage online dealer training portal.
Develop, audit and measure the effectiveness of account activation plans striving for innovative and premium merchandising and digital marketing initiatives.
Ensure Sales and YETI dealers are up-to-date on initiatives, including driving deployment of YETI’s in-store assets.
Qualifications & Attributes:
High School certificate required
4+ years of professional experience in a similar or related function
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Retail Marketing/Merchandising
Brand Agency and/or Channel Marketing experience
Highly collaborative with strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent Project Management skills with a strong ability to prioritize
Ability to build, edit and create digital assets for regionality
Absolute team player prepared to jump in and assist where required
Ability to travel up to 15%
