The Director of  Sales and Marketing-Europe will be responsible for helping to build out the European region for YETI. This leadership role will be a home-based position within the UK and will be required to travel to the Headquarters located in East Wittering on a frequent basis. This individual will be responsible for generating new business and account management across Europe for key accounts within the outdoor and lifestyle industries. The role will build a European territory sales plan and be responsible for hitting monthly and quarterly sales targets and managing gross sales within specific accounts across continental Europe.  In addition, this leader will manage the European sales and marketing team (including territory sales agents), establish monthly sales and margin targets, and drive the team to meet/exceed company sales goals. This individual will also manage a European Marketing Manager who will be responsible for building brand awareness across Europe.
 
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead European Sales and Marketing Teams to meet regional sales targets and objectives.
Develop and manage short term and long-term sales strategies for all lifestyle & outdoor distribution channels across Europe.
Work with finance, sales, and marketing leadership within the US to establish sales & marketing budgets for the region.
Develop European sales targets and execute against those goals.
Account development and management of Key Accounts across the region.
Attend trade-shows and key events to drive brand awareness and revenue.
Lead weekly/ monthly sales forecasting meetings with territory sales agents and generate reports as required to understand health of the business.
Ensure trade terms, discounts & markdowns are managed to develop company’s margin goals.
Maintain annual planning calendar for all sales & product timelines.
Requirements: 
Bachelor’s Degree and at 10-15 years of experience within consumer goods product sales focused on Lifestyle and Outdoor category distribution channels.
At least 5 years leading sales and marketing teams to meet aggressive goals.
Experience with account development and building sales territories from scratch.
Track record of meeting and exceeding regional sales targets.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Ability to develop and execute regional strategic growth plans and build business within new territories across Europe.
Ability to build and lead sales and marketing teams across Europe.
Proven ability to communicate across various departments globally to drive results.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Experience with supply and demand forecasting desired.
Experience with import/export logistics and fulfillment operations desired.
Compensation will include a base salary, variable component based on achieving sales targets.  and competitive benefits
