The Senior Indirect Procurement Analyst, located in Austin, Texas will report to the Senior Manager of Supplier Development, also located in Austin, Texas.  This position will be responsible for managing the strategy for all categories of Indirect Spend as well as the day-to-business execution associated with the company’s indirect supplier base.  This will be a critical role with the opportunity to directly impact corporate strategy in key areas of Indirect Spend including eCommerce, Marketing, IT, Finance and Professional Services.  The position will be highly cross-functional and will require collaboration and stakeholder management across multiple internal departments and external supplier relationships.  This person should have a deep understanding of Indirect Procurement strategies and best practices and the ability to manage critical projects requiring input and buy-in from diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Manage sourcing and procurement across all indirect spend categories
Execute strategic sourcing for key indirect spend categories:
determine need for supplier and collect cross-functional business requirements
research market and identify potential supplier list
prepare and administer Request for Proposal (RFP) / Request for Quotation (RFQ) events
assess supplier proposals including compliance with procurement guidelines, company policies, and alignment with strategic company objectives
gain cross-functional buy-in for recommended suppliers
conduct negotiations
develop, negotiate and close commercial contracts (Master Supply/Service Agreements or other commercial contracts, as appropriate)
Define the strategy for supplier relationship management across all indirect spend categories and actively manage the relationship with strategic indirect suppliers
Monitor supplier performance through the life of the contract; Identify opportunities to drive value through improvements in supplier performance
Conduct regular supplier risk assessments to manage company exposure to any unnecessary risk levels
Oversee global spend data across all indirect categories, including development of high-level, aggregate reports appropriate for executive-level review
Set annual cost savings targets, perform cost/ price analysis and conduct supplier negotiations to achieve targets
Focus on development of repeatable, templatized processes for strategic sourcing, procurement and supplier management, especially in areas where structure may be lacking
Work collaboratively with suppliers, stakeholders, business partners and operational leaders to resolve any supplier issues with urgency and efficacy
Oversee $100+ million in annual spend
10% or less travel 
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field
6+ years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain or related field
Team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at various organizational levels internally and externally
Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats
Demonstrated successful negotiation skills
Ability to work within a highly dynamic organization
Ability to influence without authority
