Overview:

The Senior Product Manager II, Soft Coolers will be responsible for bringing new soft coolers to market as well as driving the long-term strategy of the category. This leader will have ownership of soft coolers from inception to obsolescence and P&L accountability.

We are looking for an emerging product leader with strategic vision, excellent organizational skills, and experience bringing new products to market. Qualified candidates will excel at cross-functional team management, organizational communication, and motivating people to accomplish shared goals.  He/she will thrive in fast-paced, high-growth entrepreneurial environments, and possess influential leadership and strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives to meet business objectives and revenue goals. He/she will possess analytical rigor and an evolving skill set for moving fluidly from strategic thinking to detailed execution.

 Responsibilities:


Collaborate with Innovation team & leadership to define product strategy and roadmap

Lead all product management activities for Soft Cooler category, including partnering with Sales and Brand Marketing, driving strategic planning and product definition, category P&L scrutiny, and cross-functional communication.

Partner with Consumer Insights and Brand Marketing on product & marketing positioning for new product lines.

Maintain constant pulse of market developments, including consumer needs, competitive offerings and brand position.

Drive financial discussions for the Soft Cooler category, including pricing, forecasting and gross margin analysis.

Manage product rationalization and optimization process for Soft Cooler category

Work with the Sales, E-commerce, & Brand Marketing teams to identify opportunities and create solutions that drive sales.

Contribute to the Soft Cooler category’s 3-5yr strategic business plan.

Prepare & present the analytical data that supports reasoning for organizational buy in on new product lines.


Qualifications and Attributes:


Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related degree. Strong preference for product or marketing focus

6+ years Product or Category Management experience in retail or consumer good products

Experience with strategic planning and working within P&L driven metrics

Ability to thrive in a continuous improvement/learning culture

Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field. MBA a plus

Demonstrated success defining and launching high quality branded products

Experience with strategic planning and working within a P&L

Ability to influence without authority and gain significant followership

Ability to drive peers to meet aggressive business goals and objectives
