The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supporting YETI’s Operations, Returns, and Fulfillment areas. We are looking for someone that has a passion for leadership and leans into all the hard work that goes into supporting a team. You see the value in accountability, goal setting, hard work and collaboration. You act with urgency to bring improvements to the table. You are the ultimate time manager and can weave through the day to day reactionary needs and make time to look ahead and act proactively. Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the facility
Maintain strict shipping/receiving policies and procedures to maintain an accurate inventory
Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory counts on a regular cadence
Maintain staff performance by coaching, counseling, and motivating employees
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
Ensure health and safety standards are maintained
Organize and provide training and onboarding for new employees
Keep up cleanliness and maintenance of equipment within the warehouse
Supervise proper shift allocations and ensure maximum efficiency of all warehouse staff
Supervise receipt of all shipments. Process receiving, discrepancy, and damage reports as needed
Troubleshoot and problem solve distribution and logistics problems
Track quality, quantity, inventory levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Promotes collaboration and accountability to meet department metrics
Prioritize daily tasks and direct assignments to maximize personal and team efficiency
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
2-4 years of experience in a Distribution or Operation environment
0-2 years of experience in a supervisor or managerial role is preferred
Superior time management skills along with a keen ability to lead by example
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Leadership and team empowerment skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
