Overview:

The Sr. Manager, eCommerce Solutions will be part of the technology leadership team charged with driving the evolution of eCommerce technologies and ensuring our platforms deliver an industry-leading consumer experience.  This role is responsible for driving multiple initiatives and be actively engaged across businesses and functions as we transform how we interact with our consumers.

 

The incumbent in this role will be a consumer-centric technology leader, committed developer of people and teams, and an energetic change agent committed to driving faster, better product development.  In addition, this individual will collaboratively develop the end-to-end digital technology agenda to support business growth and great consumer experiences that differentiate YETI in the marketplace.

 

Responsibilities:


Provides strategic technology direction for YETI's eCommerce platform along with Retail/POS integration

Participates in the formulation of the company technology plans, ensuring the plan supports both strategic and near-term eCommerce needs

Ensures that resourcing strategies (staffing, budgets, etc.) are developed to support cost-effective implementation and successful customer roll-outs

Provides direction to business, marketing and technology project leads and integrates activities with other functions to ensure successful implementation and support of eCommerce initiatives

Works closely with business partners and other leaders within the broader IT organization to ensure opportunities to build industry leading digital experiences are realized

Works with the business partners and various functional managers to ensure project costs and schedules are properly estimated and controlled

Provide thought leadership to business stakeholders about emerging trends in digital technology as aligned to strategy

Creates an environment which aids in establishing and maintaining high performing teams


 

Qualifications and Attributes:


Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Communications, Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field

Masters degree preferred or equivalent experience in usability, human factors, digital design, communication, digital retail, omnichannel, etc.

8+ years of experience in professional services delivery, ideally with Digital Retail, eCommerce, Omnichannel, and/or Retail IT solutions

4+ years of experience directly leading digital teams - people management/leadership, coaching and development, etc.

Prior experience developing a digital strategy and vision, including digital journey mapping, leading change and collaborating with a variety of business, technology and creative partners

Superior communication skills and a proven track record of building and developing relationships with senior leadership as well as technology and business teams

Strong executive presence, including the ability to partner with and effectively influence multiple stakeholders in business and technology

Creative problem-solving skills, strategic thinker, and high degree of intellectual curiosity to understand the impact of technical changes and to articulate high-level technical solutions to address business problems

Excellent communication skills with proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with a focus on change management

Extensive experience working in matrixed environments with multi-skilled teams and projects across various business lines

Experience building a high performing team that can act as trusted advisors and deliver value to stakeholders

Demonstrated capability to challenge status quo and deliver new concepts and technologies

Articulate how to achieve bold outcomes across digital platforms
