The Executive Assistant - General Counsel will report to our General Counsel and support all day-to-day legal administrative requests. You are a self-starter and are able to succeed in an unstructured work environment with a strong desire to complete projects and tasks on time. You have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. You are an energetic, performance-driven go-getter who enjoys delving into special projects and taking ownership of your work. Lastly, and most importantly, you are a vault when it comes to handling confidential information.

 

Responsibilities:


Provide day-to-day administrative support that includes managing email, complex calendaring, travel, meeting coordination, maintaining confidential files and record keeping systems.

Review and process legal requests.

Respond to internal and external legal inquiries.

Facilitate communication of process and policy to third-party attorneys.

Assist with the creation and documentation for existing and new policies and procedures.

Proactively anticipate and track critical dates, events, and associated milestones or deadlines.

Prepare daily schedule as well as creating checklists for the General Counsel.

Periodically assisting with general errands such as lunches for meetings.

Arrange mail and package shipments.

Interoffice coordination and communication between all departments.

Coordination, management and execution of various ad-hoc projects, ensuring that the project plan tasks, schedules, estimates, and statuses are maintained.

Creation of presentations when required.


 

Qualifications and Attributes:


Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent combination of education and experience

4-6 years relevant professional experience supporting a top level executive

Experience supporting a corporate or in-house legal department is highly desirable

Ability to build rapport across the organization

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Self-starter; able to work with minimal supervision and ability to improve processes.

Exceptional writing, interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to professionalism, integrity and collegiality.

Ability to collaborate and function well in a team environment.

Experience handling confidential and sensitive material.

Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

Thorough and tenacious, determined to find answers.

Spur of the moment trouble shooting capabilities.

Passionate about getting things done quickly and accurately.

Resourceful and always maintain a positive, can-do attitude.

High level of proficiency in Outlook and all Microsoft products
