The Logistics Analyst - North America is responsible for managing, planning and monitoring shipments within YETI’s network, ensuring a high level of customer service with a focus on managing costs. This individual will perform duties related to building and scheduling loads, managing shipper and consignee relationships, carrier management and KPI scorecards, and tracking and tracing shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

 


Lead and manage transportation carriers for N.A. on various transportation modes including truckload, LTL, Parcel, and cross border.

Manage and facilitate negotiations of RFPs.

Implement data analytics of carrier performance data for cycle time, costs, and business process review.

Anticipate, provide, and facilitate problem resolution on all shipment issues in order to meet or exceed satisfaction of customers, carriers and internal key stakeholders.

Conduct follow-up and update Management on problem loads and actions that have been taken.

Support carriers and global supply chain functions with transportation documentation needs (e.g. BOL, SLI, SED, hazardous declarations).

Establish and maintain carrier routings for shipments between fulfillment centers, suppliers, customers, vendors, and all nodes within YETI’s transportation network.

Develop process to investigate shortage and damage; complete appropriate documentation and file carrier claims as needed.

Develop and implement effective KPIs to achieve organizational objectives and targets.

Lead preferred transportation carrier supplier relationship management including monthly/quarterly carrier performance reviews and KPI scorecards.

Contribute to continuous improvement / optimization of the transportation network.


 

Qualifications and attributes:


Bachelor's degree in a related field

Minimum of 2-4+ years of experience managing transportation providers

Analytics Software knowledge (Tableau, Power BI)

Experience in Federal and State motor carrier regulations

Transportation Management System (TMS) experience

Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Travel Requirements 0 - 5% of the time

Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system preferred

Knowledge of transportation operation processes (LTL, Truckload, Intermodal, Parcel & cross border) with high analytical proficiency
