YETI is looking for a Front End Web Developer with a strong knowledge of testing, optimization, and analytics to join our digital eCommerce team. We are looking for someone who would be comfortable working with existing pages, inserting new elements, and moving things around via our testing platform. You will help drive the YETI.com experience by being a key member of our testing and optimization team. YETI’s Front End Web Developer must be highly analytical, deeply detail-oriented, able to work under tight deadlines, be creative, strive for quality, and effectively work cross-functionally to drive business results.

Responsibilities:


Collaborate with members of the digital marketing team to bring the best data driven user experience to YETI.com

Work directly with the Site Experience Team and Marketing Channel owners to design and execute tests and personalized experiences for YETI.com visitors

Understand YETI.com inside and out, including marketing initiatives and how those may impact running or upcoming tests

Own the testing process, ensuring all running tests and personalization experiences are functioning and not interfering with other tests or YETI.com initiatives

Liaise with engineering team, overlapping with remote time zones when needed to ensure the best outcome for implementing tests

Work closely with the eCommerce Marketing Analyst to ensure the best data possible

Own your code, assuring only quality tested code is deployed, a bias towards QA is a must


Qualifications and Attributes:


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

4+ years of JavaScript experience

Fluency in HTML/CSS

Ability to hide, alter, move, re-style and/or create new elements on pages using JavaScript

Be able to manipulate controls created by 3rd party libraries such as videos (start/stop a video, etc), image sliders, and/or lightbox windows

Use source control to manage deliverables (stand-alone scripts, images, etc)

Expert dealing with browser compatibility issues (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, IE8+)

UX/UI experience or training. Ability to evaluate an existing site to find potential changes/improvement

Experience with split testing tools (Dynamic Yield, Monetate, Optimizely, Visual Website Optimizer, Adobe Test and Target)

Expert knowledge with APIs and tool integration

Expert knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics or related site metrics ecosystem (Adobe Analytics).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Exposure to SAP and Demandware a plus

Bonus: Experience in eCommerce
