As an Operations Systems Analyst II, you will be at the hub of turning real world processes into actionable steps in SAP, our ERP. This is critical to ensure timely vendor payments, accurate views on the flow of goods and services, proper inventory accountability, and proper invoice generation occur. This position will lay the foundation by developing scalable processes in SAP. You will hear “I need to do this, but how do I execute in SAP?” all the time. When you do, you will jump in, roll up your sleeves and work your magic.
The Operations Systems Analyst II sits within YETI Operations and Supply Chain but works closely across the organization working cross functionally with NPD, Production, Logistics, Warehousing, Fulfillment, Customization, IT and others as required.
Responsibilities:
Attend NPD, Custom, Planning/Buying, etc. meetings; listening to desired outcomes and determining best practices to execute in SAP
If unable to execute as is identify gaps and work with IT SAP team to close gaps
Generate detailed and concise work instructions
Identify areas for improvement in current processes with focus on cost savings, scalability, and increasing efficiency in our ERP
Challenge the status quo; be humble but vocal in pursuit for positive change
Drive standardization of new process as we expand both our supply chain (domestic and international) and our respective portfolio of technology, tools, and systems
Act as a liaison between YETI’s Supply Chain and Technology teams
Qualifications and Attributes:
Bachelor’s in data science, Business, Master Data Management, or other applicable degree preferred
At least 4 years of experience working with ERP, SAP experience required
ERP experience should include at least 1 of the following: Planning, Purchasing, Production, or Inventory Control
High level understanding of workflow in ERP a must
Ability to influence and teach others
Ability to step in shoes of others, and help drive positive change
Ability to communicate complex activities into concise work instructions
Ability to juggle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, results oriented environment
Able to communicate with business and IT equally, know your audience and use appropriate language (non-IT speak vs. highly technical speak) with target audience
Able to adapt quickly in growing company is key
Loves attention to details and process
