The Senior Copywriter will work as a collaborative part of YETI’s award-winning, in-house creative team and is responsible for crafting the voice of the brand across digital channels, including web, email, and paid media. The Senior Copywriter is expected to actively contribute to the development of new ideas and create polished, final deliverables whether working solo or with other creatives.

Responsibilities:


Work closely with the Creative Director to champion YETI’s brand voice in support of the overall marketing vision and business objectives

Collaborate with digital marketing channel owners on projects to bring a strategic perspective to the creative process

Create brand messaging for product-led storytelling that simply and strongly explain the “why” and reasons to believe in a product

Brainstorm, concept, and implement creative executions that garner buy-in while netting measurable results

Provide a range of concepts for A/B testing that deliver on creative briefs

Embrace a data-driven approach to apply learnings and improve campaign performance

Deliver work in an agile workflow, managing priorities and multiple projects at once

Creative evolution – stay up to date with branding and advertising in all mediums

Inspire and guide junior copywriters with best-in-class creative




Qualifications and Attributes:


Bachelor’s degree required

At least of 4 years of experience in an advertising or in-house creative role

Experience with consumer product brands is preferred

An exceptional copywriting portfolio website

Expertise and understanding of digital marketing best practices

Proactive in nature - ability to solve problems, even when they are not fully defined

Ability to present creative process and sell creative ideas

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

An understanding of the latest trends within the outdoor industry

Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment

Optimistic, energetic and naturally brings the fun to the office
