YETI is searching for an individual to fill the role of Sales Operations Manager supporting our North America Wholesale and Corporate Sales channels, reporting to our NA Senior Sales FP&A and Sales Operations Manager. Based at our headquarters in Austin, TX, this role will be a key business partner for the Sales, Supply Chain, Custom Operations, and Finance leadership teams.
As a Sales Operations Manager, you will be a coach player, leading a team of two analysts responsible for managing internal inventory allocations, collecting internal sales data, proactively analyzing critical trends, and presenting those trends to the sales organization with proposed directional changes. You will have an opportunity to play a significant role in developing the YETI sales reporting process by creating new tools, metrics, and methodologies that will improve our understanding of the business. Work closely with the sales team to understand the needs of the business and develop tools to help them manage and grow their account base
Discern the most efficient way to build/update/manipulate datasets that source accurate and timely reporting
Leveraging sophisticated BI and querying tools to expedite the reporting process
Become the subject matter expert on YETI’s sales data
Query, mine, and organize data from YETI’s systems and other data repositories to accurately perform analyses
Develop and execute routine reporting of key performance indicators for internal business partners
Improve and execute a complex inventory management process on a timely manner in support of our Sales and Financial Plans
Partner with the Custom Operations and Planning team to coordinate inventory shipments to fulfill Sales orders
Create, maintain, and enhance value-add reporting and dashboards that facilitate business decisions throughout the organization
Deliver on-time and accurate reporting and analysis on cadence to support business needs
Provide the team with necessary pertinent information for quarterly business review
Generating ad-hoc reporting that is dynamic and applicable to each cross functional business case that presents itself
Perform regular ad hoc analysis for various departments throughout the organization
Qualifications and Attributes:
Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree
MBA considered valuable but not required
At least 6 years’ experience working with large data sets and sales analytics and at least 2 years as people manager
Highly detail oriented with a strong mathematical aptitude
Experience with SAP required (Fiori is a plus)
Experience with Tableau preferred
Experience with Salesforce preferred
An Excel super user, expertise in Microsoft Word, expertise in PowerPoint
