The Senior Demand Planning Analyst will forecast demand and partner with supply planning to get the right product at the right time for all Canada sales channels (Direct to Consumer, Corporate Sales, & Wholesale).

You are highly analytical with the ability to synthesize data and generate forecasts, while establishing trusted relationships across the organization. You are a collaborative problem-solver, who not only understands the numbers, but also the broader business context around them. You thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing entrepreneurial environments. Responsibilities:


Generate demand forecast as part of monthly SIOP process by reviewing sales, marketing promotions, seasonality, growth, and new product launches

Analyze data and evaluate forecast performance to determine areas of risk and opportunity to revenue. Present insights weekly to internal business partners with key actions and follow through.

Analyze and improve forecast accuracy; effectively determine sources of error or bias and implement appropriate improvement plans

Provide weekly guidance on inventory allocation across Canada sales channels and communicate impact to internal business partners

Meet monthly with supply planning to review long term inventory arrivals plans and provide guidance on prioritization and target stock levels

Own various ad hoc analysis and presentations as needed for Sales, Finance & Senior Management

Lead projects and initiatives focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes throughout the organization




Qualifications and Attributes:


At least 4 years’ experience in demand forecasting, merchandising, and/or sales analytics

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field preferred

Demonstrated proficiency in retail math and various forecasting methods

Advanced knowledge of Excel including complex formulas, pivot tables, etc.

Tableau experience preferred

Experience with fast growing, retail or global consumer goods companies (preferred)

Attention to detail, strong business acumen, love digging into data and finding drivers to demand

Combine curiosity with critical thinking and good judgment to unravel a seemingly complex problem and get to the root cause

Self-starter and persistent with ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations

Is known for developing and delivering results on a timely basis

Able to work in an ambiguous, fast-growing team-first environment

Excellent verbal and written communications skills
