YETI is searching for an individual to fill the role of Senior Financial Analyst supporting our Direct to Consumer (DTC) function. Based in Austin, TX, this role will be a key business partner and key financial support for the Retail & eCommerce teams. This individual will have an active involvement in driving sales and profitability as well as providing key financial support to key business partners.

This individual needs to be highly analytical with the ability to synthesize data and make sound business recommendations to management. They must be a collaborative problem-solver, who not only understands the numbers, but also the broader business context around them. To be successful, the person must be able to communicate effectively with both the Finance and DTC teams.



Responsibilities:


Analyze & report monthly financial & operational results, including the interpretation of current month performance as a tool for predicting future results

Partnership with the broader FP&A team plus the DTC team to complete the annual budgeting and monthly forecast process

Daily and weekly reporting, in addition to a full risk and opportunity analysis of the business to help drive future strategy

Continually monitor selling metrics & KPIs to diagnosis business performance and identify areas of opportunity versus forecast

Full P&L management of the Retail business including active weekly management of payroll targets

Partner with the Director, Retail Operations to establish field facing goals to help drive performance in YETI owned Retail locations

Work with the Retail team to support new site approval process through P&L forecasting

Generate Monthly Business Review, Board of Directors and other management presentations

Own various ad hoc analysis as needed for senior management

Lead projects and initiatives focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes throughout the organization




Qualifications and Attributes:


Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting with strong academic credentials

At least 5 years of finance experience, primarily in an FP&A function

Experience in FP&A supporting an eCommerce business or direct experience with Retail is not a requirement but considered very valuable

Experience with fast growing, global consumer goods companies

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

SAP experience a plus

Attention to detail

Self-starter and persistent with strong analytical and organizational skills

Is known for developing and delivering results on a timely basis

Able to work in an ambiguous, fast-growing team-first environment

Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations

Excellent verbal and written communications skills
