The Director of Supply Chain is based in Amsterdam, NL and will be responsible for the performance of YETI’s European fulfillment and logistics network. This individual will be focused on driving results in a rapidly growing enterprise while actively contributing to both the business and supply chain strategy. We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic leader who thrives when presented a challenge, has robust knowledge of global logistics and fulfillment, and can build consensus across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:


Lead the execution of YETI’s European Supply Chain, encompassing Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers and regional transportation partners

Drive alignment and standardization to Global Supply Chain’s strategy & initiatives

Serve as primary interface for YETI’s European business organization to ensure superior customer experience across all channels to market

Identify areas for continuous improvement, then design and execute actionable solutions to complex issues to drive rapid results

Develop and maintain key performance indicators for operational activities

Partner with other operational stakeholders (planning, inventory controls, finance, etc) to ensure seamless end-to-end product flow

Manage European Supply Chain activities to YETI’s annual operating plan

Effectively report European Supply Chain performance to stakeholders and leadership via all communication mediums (presentations, digital dashboards, email, verbal, etc).

Schedule and facilitate meetings necessary to coordinate and manage projects and other related business requirements

Analyze stakeholder needs, identify gaps & risks, then build actionable solution to the business problem

Build constructive business relationships with all stakeholders, including 3rd party vendors

Demonstrate effective planning and effective stakeholder management as well as an ability to set and manage realistic timelines

Serve as primary operational relationship owner for logistics and fulfillment vendors in region

Position is for an individual contributor, but likely to scale to a people manager position as the business requirements dictate




Qualifications and Attributes:


Bachelor’s degree required; Preference for MBA / MS in operations management or equivalent graduate degree in supply chain, engineering, or comparable field

At least 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain and operations with at least 4 years of leadership.

Experience managing remote employees and within tiered organizations is preferred

Significant experience leading European fulfilment and logistics operations, warehouse management and multiple modes of transportation

Operations experience within a global supply chain across multiple international origin points, modes of transportation, and a multi-nodal distribution networks preferred

History of successful 3PL and transportation supplier management

Deep familiarity with operational requirements needed to support multiple business channels (ecommerce, wholesale, retail)

Experience building new supply chains preferred

Knowledge of Trade Compliance requirements/regulations preferred

SAP experience preferred

Familiarity with supply chain related technologies and a propensity to learn and work in new technologies

Ability to operate at both a strategic and a tactical level, supporting the development of comprehensive strategies, then leading projects to deliver intended results

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency and ownership

Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills

Proven relationship builder with diverse, remote stakeholder groups

Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once in a fast-paced, results oriented environment

Desire and ability to be a team player who appreciates a unique, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment

Anticipates operational issues and develops preventative measures in advance

Excels at analyzing, interpreting, and building recommendations from data

Problem solve and present information to management, co-workers, and business clients

Resourceful self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and can excel with organizational leadership in another region
