About the job
Essential Functions:
INBOUND MARKETING
- Content Creation and Distribution
- Engage with our visitors and transform into promoters of the brand
- Merge content creation, publishing and using analytical tools to maximize a loyal following.
E-MAIL CAMPAIGNS
- Schedule all e-mail campaigns.
- Concept campaigns based on strategic dates and initiatives.
- Direct creative team to build necessary assets
- Deploy campaigns
- Use analytical tools to determine effectiveness and build on successes.
CALENDAR
- Build a detailed marketing calendar
- Manage the calendar
CUSTOMERS/RETAIL
- Contribute concepts and work with design leads on marketing initiatives
- Find opportunities for windows and build outs as well as other marketing opportunities with reps and shops
- Establish and maintain relationships with accounts and customers
- Provide seasonal drop assets to customers (social media, shop catalogs, web etc.)
EVENTS
- Oversee coordination, attendance, and budget, Obtain final approval on (ex. tradeshows and sales meetings)
- Find or create contests, events, and other opportunities for the brands to sponsor or attend
- Provide a checklist, budget, and plan of attack prior to starting any event/project
BUDGET
- For each project, create and execute a detailed budget
- Keep team updated on budget execution
- Gather information, negotiate, and confirm all Dark Seas advertising contracts
WEBSITE
- Plan and execute the seasonal web launches with design leads
- Provide content concepts to design leads
- Complete annual or biannual site updates with design leads
- Develop initiatives to increase traffic and sales
- Lead initiatives for holidays, events, and any other special seasonal windows
INSTAGRAM
- Concept and post all Instagram imagery and campaigns to build followers. Work with design leads on creative direction
- Communicate with followers
- Develop regular posting schedule
- Provide creative input
- Use analytical tools to maximize following and engagement
FACEBOOK
- Manage Dark Seas Facebook (making sure it is current with marketing calendar)
TEAM
- Manage DS outliers team
- Manage team receiving product
- Coordinate team and photographers/videographers
PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT
- Facilitate all promotional orders
- Help plan and manage promotional budget
SMUS
- Work with design leads to market SMUs (planning, reviewing and executing) (ex. recent quickstrike offering)
- Work with design leads on asset acquisition and distribution
- Find new collaboration opportunities
LOOKBOOKS
- Concept and execute seasonal and collaboration look books with design leads
- Provide organized and concise downloads of the storyline and visual aspects to design leads
- When possible, provide rough drafts of both look books in order to help design leads narrow selections
- Distribute look books to editorial and key accounts, as well as to customers, reps, and distributions
PRODUCT PLACEMENT
- Find or create editorial opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with editorial avenues and ambassadors.
VIDEO
-Shoot and edit video content when time permits
