Together, we can leave it better than we found it. Parks Project takes the concept of giving back to nature and applies a dash of environmental, and social enterprise. As a for-profit business, we use the sale of an array of apparel and accessories to connect consumers with park conservancies. Each product purchased contributes to one of over 40 different conservancies across the USA, providing vital funding for the ongoing care of our Parklands.

The Wholesale Sales Representative will be responsible for providing an excellent customer experience to our existing specialty retailers while also focusing on building out new distribution. Responsibilities include managing all communication with active specialty accounts, initiating in-season inventory replenishment, and accelerating new distribution. Being a self-starter is critical, as this person will work directly with our Sales Management team and cross-departmentally to support our go-to-market strategies.

The ideal candidate for this position has a proven track record in managing an existing account base and having significant growth metrics for new distribution.

Job Duties:
• Build strong relationships with buyers to maintain leadership in the marketplace
• Responsible for identifying new market opportunities that will meet or exceed ambitious growth plans within the specialty channel.
• Research and qualify new leads
• Develop and execute on sales targets and shipping goals on a monthly, quarterly, seasonal, and annual basis
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers in sales, merchandising, and retailer buyers/ owners
• Organize and maintain daily detailed customer contact notes and information systems
• Manage and cultivate growth with existing specialty retailers
• Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers
• Develop follow-up and call-back schedules with customers
• Identify reorder and replenishment opportunities
• Responsible for shifting and replacing dollars (ie; late products, pull-ups etc)
• Participate in internal sales meetings w/ knowledge of product sales
• Pitch the brand mission and stand behind the reason why we exist

What You’ll Need:
• 3+ Years of business development, sales, and account management experience
• Financial and Analytical Skills
• Familiarity with the outdoor and fashion retail industry
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to build or use sales reporting tools
• B2B proficiency (NuOrder)
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Goal-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
