As a for profit business, we use the sale of an array of apparel and accessories to connect consumers with park conservancies. Each product purchased contributes directly to one of over 50 different conservancies across the USA, providing vital funding for the ongoing care of National Parks.?

The Big Picture: Parks Project is seeking an experienced professional with 2-5 years’ experience managing analytics, forecasting, and planning. Our product ranges from apparel to accessories to home goods. Potential candidates must be organized, focused, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

Say No to Boring Days:

• Create, interpret, and report back to eCommerce team on weekly sales and marketing data.
• Suggest actionable insights based on interpretation of weekly reports
• Build dashboard in partnership with the Head of eCommerce to track weekly metrics, including but not limited to traffic, conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV, consumer survey insights, and overall marketing ROI
• Collect, analyze and draw insights from customer journey, recommend adjustments to optimize purchase, retention, and lifetime value
• Forecast seasonal inventory buys for eCommerce channel, suggesting OTB calculations for product categories based on historical sales data
• Measure performance of seasonal inventory buys- total sales, sell-through, stock turn, and product margins
• Assist with eCommerce revenue forecasting, margin analysis, and sales channel cost accounting
• Using predetermined KPIs, support eCommerce team with tracking success of marketing campaigns
• Support with financial modeling, P&L budgeted vs actuals, and reconciling periodic financial reports
• Develop processes and provides value-added insight into the design of initiatives to achieve financial objectives
• Analyze financial performance vs. forecasts and effectively communicate results to management

The Stuff that Makes U You:?

• 2 - 5 years of experience in planning, forecasting, and/or data analytics
• Bachelor’s degree
• Posses strong quantitative and analytical skills with a passion for details
• Strong project management skills; highly organized with strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
• You can focus on the here and now while keeping a keen eye to the future and the organizational capability to prioritize work
• Proficient computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point; experience with advanced excel functionalities required
• Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and social reporting
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills and must be able to effectively present information to others
• Passion for the outdoors a plus!
