Greenlayer services some of the largest properties in the endurance sports world and is recognized as a leader in the endurance, run, and multisport channels. The company is based in NW Portland, Oregon.
Inside Sales Reps work within Greenlayer custom apparel, a leader in providing custom apparel for endurance events, teams, and clubs. The Inside Sales Rep works in support of the company head of sales and is also responsible for personally driving sales growth via internet leads, and supporting in house accounts. This position is full-time.
Responsibilities:
• SALES SUPPORT (70%)
- Supporting relationship management of major accounts.
- Research, reports, communication, outreach.
- Writing up new sales agreements and renewing existing sales agreements.
- Producing reports as directed.
- Follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates, utilizing Excel spreadsheet system to monitor timely arrivals.
- Communicate with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments
- Recommend purchase of additional merchandise based on knowledge of complete product lines, features, functionality and intended style combinations
- Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
- Coordinating sales-related activities with custom operations. Supporting communications with outside sales reps.
- Representing company at expos and events as needed.
• DIRECT SALES (30%)
- Drive online sales by closing on “warm” leads received via online, phone, or from sales management.
