Vissla is in search of an experienced Pattern Maker / Fit Tech - Sportswear & Wetsuits, to join the team in Aliso Viejo, CA.
** PLEASE NOTE: This position requires at least 3 years of previous experience for consideration. ***
RESPONSIBILITIES // include but not limited to:
• Review all fit submits for spec measurements and construction details from proto to production arriving into the warehouse. Including Sportswear and Lycra and Wetsuits.
• Daily communication with domestic and international vendors regarding specs, fit, pattern adjustments. Communicate development visual comments, submits and approvals, etc.
• Problem solve construction or fit issues with vendors.
• Create and maintain block fits and grade rules.
• Schedule and lead fittings and identify fit corrections or revisions where needed.
• Track and manage fit and development submits to ensure development and production calendar dates are meet.
• Maintain spec library to ensure brand fit consistency.
• Complete wash testing where needed.
• Quality control checks on production orders arriving into the warehouse.
• Update lineplan with style details, approvals, submits and expected delivery dates
• Manage Pre-Production and Top of Production submits for visual and fit comments.
