Job Description

The EDI and Data Specialist is primarily responsible for the day to day administration of Bearpaw’s Sales Force Automation portal and the day-to-day responsibilities of the EDI process. This includes all areas of data management and integrity, EDI order integrity and internal Customer Service Support as needed.

The EDI and data specialist's responsibilities include establishing contact with trading partners, analyzing the data exchanged with any partners, observing data records to record any errors, and correcting any failures. EDI and data specialist will work with employees at all levels to support accurate and proper data exchanges.

Job Requirements

Job Duties:
1. Master the technical setup and administration of the Hubsoft CRM Portal
2. Master Brand EDI coordination
3. Function as the primary point of contact for the establishment of new EDI feeds
4. Responsible for setting up new trading partners and the testing requirements
5. Build each new sales season within the CRM portal including all the required data elements needed to support full product merchandising.
6. Provide CRM training and Support for all Bearpaw Sales Reps and/or Customer Service reps.
7. Work closely with IT to support the Hubsoft to Full Circle interface.
8. Build and/or maintain an image repository for all portal graphics and product images
9. Maintain the accuracy of the Bearpaw Dealer Locator on Bearpaw.com
10. Provides technical expertise and support for EDI communications
11. Daily communication and follow up with vendors, customer service, and sales to provide resolutions to problems


Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum 2 years of college experience and previous experience working with EDI
• Must be detail oriented and able to audit complex data sets.
• Experience with EDI management required.
• Experience with GXS and Inovis
• Comfort working with Excel, MS Word and MS Access and to audit data without supervision.
• Critical problem solving skills are imperative.
• Relational database skills are a plus (but not required)
• The ability to present seasonal changes at bi-annual sales meetings is a plus (but not required)
• Excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills are required
