Tools & Equipment Sales (LA & OC)
SONIC Tools is a fast growing, dynamic organization which offers an excellent career path and opportunities ahead. We are heavily involved in the motorsports scene. Within Sports Car racing we are the official Hand Tool for IMSA, have active partnerships within GRC, and we're the official hand tool of Troy Lee Designs' factory KTM Motocross / Supercross Team.
SONIC Tools has a position available for a territory sales position covering Los Angeles and Orange County, California.
You will be equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment to be a successful salesperson and have a successful route. The job requires the ability to work with franchisees, private businesses, and technicians across the area to supply them with the necessary tools and equipment we have to offer.
Items sold include an entire portfolio of Tool Storage, Organized Tool solutions, hand tools, and specialty equipment. This position requires travel within the territory; a demo vehicle of products will be provided.
Key Tasks:
• Territory Sales serving Powersports and Automotive Dealerships, and Industry companies.
• Maintaining a satisfied book of accounts.
• Communicating with Franchise dealer locations, private businesses, as well as technicians within shops.
• Provide Training and instruction on the Sonic difference in tool storage solutions, and individual tool comparisons.
• Customer Interaction over the phone, email, and in person.
• Exhibit and convey knowledge and enthusiasm of tools, marketplace, using professional sales skills.
• Establish and maintain sales goals created among the sales team.
• Focus on marketplace and determine sales outlets outside of the current territory.
• Resolve customer inquiries, and collaborate to resolve potential issues that arise.
• Maintain active Accounts Receivable accounts.
• Keep individual and personal records of all customer and client interactions.
