Job Summary
• Expedite and route movement of incoming and outgoing cargo and freight shipments in airline, train, and trucking terminals, and shipping docks.
• Enter, pick, pack and ship daily packages.
• Manage inventory movement.
• Manage international distributor direct large orders, payments, freight quotes and documentation.
• Colaborate and support distributor logistics.
General Accountabilities
• Responsible for shipping and receiving orders in a timely manner.
• Exercise excellent attention to detail and precision while entering and shipping orders.
• Proactive about pulling and preparing orders, to avoid missed deliveries.
• Highly organized and efficient use of time.
• Consistent performance while shipping goods, so that accurate warehouse inventory is up to date.
• Daily grounds and facility maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Be eager and willing to help with any task.
• Advises clients on transportation and payment methods.
• Tracks delivery progress of shipments.
• Determines method of shipment and prepares bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
• Estimates freight or postal rates and records shipment costs and weights.
• Keeps records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.
• Examines shipment contents and compares with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
• Prepares manifests showing packages, mail, and freight weights, transmitting data to destinations.
• Negotiates and arranges transport of goods with shipping or freight companies.
• Contacts vendors or claims adjustment departments to resolve shipment problems

Job Qualifications
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 2-3 years experience as a Shipping Clerk
• Fedex, UPS, DHL and USPS experience required
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Extremely detail oriented with a high standard for organization and cleanliness.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential to the position.
• Demonstrate teamwork behavior.
• Typing and computer experience required.
• Ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure.
• Customer focused and concerned about the customers' needs.
