About the job
The Salty Crew Assistant production manager reports to the production manager and is responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling of Salty Crew manufacturing.
The Assistant production manager is responsible for Line Plans, Product and Trim/Blank Buys, issuing of Purchase Orders and tracking of on time quality delivery of goods.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
• Manage Final Line Plans and insure data integrity
• Enter Line Plan into ERP System and update both LP and ERP as required
- Including SMU’s and NPD’s
• Issue Style numbers
• Sort and organize Line Plan for Catalog Data merge
• Run Product buys as required for all product, blanks and trims and submit buy for approval
- Issue Purchase orders to suppliers based on buy
- Tracking on time delivery of all Purchase Orders
- Maintaining and updating WIP
- Forecasting Blank needs for suppliers
• Issue Salesman Sample PO’s for finished goods, blanks and trims
- Tracking delivery
- Create and send out UPC codes to suppliers for Salesman Samples
- Review, code and approve Salesman Sample invoices
- Assist with staging, picking and shipping of Salesman Samples to Reps
• Other miscellaneous special projects and/or reports as required for Management
