Job Description
The Sales Director is an innovative sales executive who can develop and execute successful sales strategies in a quickly changing industry. They are an inspirational leader who can empower others as well as hold them accountable to achieve results and exceed goals. As part of our Leadership Team, this position will report directly to the Company's CEO and work closely with the Company's President. This position is responsible for the implementation and leadership of the Company's integrated B2B sales and marketing plans, ensuring achievement of annual sales goals. New business development and sales growth will be of significant importance. The Sales Director will be an active member of the sales and business development team while managing a small but focused sales team in USA and Canada.

Major Accountabilities
The Sales Director is responsible for the development and execution of business developments activities, and obtaining organic growth within the existing customer base by:

•Working closely with the CEO, President and Senior Account Managers to develop and implement long term sales strategies and marketing initiatives
•Actively participating in sales process, revenue forecasting and business planning
•Developing and maintaining sales budgets
•Identifying targeted accounts by taking the lead in development of new clients as well as supporting your team with resolving outstanding issues, providing additional support and closing sales
•Developing and implementing strategies to penetrate new sales channels.
•Hiring, training and developing the sales team to meet company sales goals and objectives
•Assisting in the development, implementation and management of compensation and incentive programs for the sales force
•Mentoring and leading account managers and customer service representatives, leveraging their individual strengths
•Successfully translating business requirements into team deliverables
• Implementing sales goals and objectives, prioritizing key clients in accordance with marketing sales plan
• Developing techniques to effectively monitor sales team performance
•Developing and implementing plans to capture new clients and obtain growth within the existing customer base
•Assisting account managers in representing the company through key market visits, new product training and sales presentations
•Assuring proper on-going account management protocols are in place and are being followed by sales team
•Participating in negotiating contracts, pricing and terms with dealers
• Identifying and communicating external industry dynamics that create emerging trends within LXV Outdoor's client base and providing guidance to the sales team to leverage trends into meaningful sales strategies

Job Requirements

Requirements
• Minimum 3 years sales and management experience in the Action Sports, Paddle Boarding and Fishing industry. Existing dealer relationships mandatory and lead lists strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent experience
•Exceptional, demonstrated consultative sales skills. Ability to craft a solution that meets business goals based on communication with clients and/or account managers.
•Proven business development skills, with a track record of building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing goals and solutions with C level executives and other decision makers
•Demonstrated experience directly leading sales teams, with an impeccable ability to impact and influence through a collaborative approach
•Strong leadership, business acumen and strategic agility to plan, lead, and drive change in the organization while meeting or exceeding business objectives
•An effective, persuasive speaker and writer who can communicate effectively with internal management, external sales team and client groups
•A self-starter, confident in his/her abilities, self-motivated and able to work effectively with little supervision
•Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent time management skills; flexibility to arrange remote work schedule and travel (40%) around company needs
