Job Description

WOO Sports is in search of Sales Representatives to join the team in open territories across ths US.

ABOUT WOO SPORTS //
At WOO, we live and breath action sports. We are passionate action sports athletes that share a common vision. We want to get people of the couch and back onto the slopes, mountains, waters, and streets to play the games they like most. Get in the Game!

We designed the WOO, a small machine learning game console that sticks on your wakeboard, snowboard, skis, kite board and more. It measure things like jump height, airtime, landing g-force and what trick you did. Based on the data pattern recognition we detect tricks from a 180 to a double cork 1620. We use this quantified data to create mobile interactive games for our communities. We released the second version of our product last fall WOO 2.0 offering games for Kiteboarders, Wakeboarders, Skiers and Snowboarders!

The product itself retails for $249.99 and there are a handful of accessory packages which see high sell through. Retailer margins typically average 40% but beyond the margins you are offering them an engagement tool to energize their local community and get more people interacting with their business. This helps them drive sales well beyond the WOO. We provide all dealers with simple, easy to use tools, to host local contests, challenges, and encourage their customers to push their progression and ride more!

POSITION SUMMARY //
To support further growth of WOO Sports, we are looking for ambitious Sales Representatives for our North American markets with a background in sales and a passion for action sports and technology. We have positions available across North America, territories are regional.

You will be responsible for the frontline sales activities of WOO Sports in your region. This includes calling on new accounts, managing existing accounts, and finding events or other opportunities for WOO to engage with customers. You will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Manage complete sales cycle from new business development to post sales support
• Expand current WOO distribution channels
• Send feedback from dealers and customers to WOO HQ
• Be a resource for dealers and customers directing them to the appropriate support channels
• Actively contribute and participate in WOO HQ marketing and sales campaigns
• Meet quarterly sales targets

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS //
• Experience empathizing with others and being a positive force for the success of others
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience selling within the action
• sports industry with focus on developing retail networks
• Specific experience in the Wakeboarding, Ski, and Kiteboarding industries a strong preference
• Start-up and ecommerce experience is a plus
• Experience with relationship management and relationship driven sales strategies
• Proven sales track record
• Passionate about action sports and new technologies
