As a Senior Business Analyst at REI, you will contribute to REI’s success by informing strategic choices and plans using empirical data and systems thinking across Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Vendor Operation. In this position, you will work collaboratively across REI’s Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Vendor Operations teams to evaluate our business systems, processes, industrial designs ability to meet our strategic priorities. You will model how changing business strategies will impact these systems and examine potential solutions that improve our ability to meet our strategic outcomes.

The Sr Business Analyst will be expected to complete scrutiny at a level of detail appropriate for the level of complexity and risk that maximizes our speed through the choice-making process but protects the organization. The Sr Business Analyst will need the ability to communicate complex processes and scrutiny to cross divisional stakeholders including REI’s Senior Leadership Team. The Sr Business Analyst will be a critical resource in supporting REI’s journey of developing advanced analytics capabilities and will have a degree of ownership of enhancing data infrastructure and data-based skills.

Your Planning & Navigating Requirements:

! Drives or participates in strategic planning processes to align our Project Portfolio to our strategic outcomes.
! Ensures that REI’s Supply Chain is measuring the right set of KPIs to achieve our strategic outcomes and works with IT partners to build appropriate infrastructure.
! Develops models of REI’s Supply Chain through process and value stream mapping.
! Develops, presents, and recommends plans, solutions, and strategies associated to effective Sales and Operations Planning, Long Range Strategic Planning, and support Budgeting Process.
! Examines complex business system performance using data from internal and external sources that are structured and unstructured, to give insight to choice-makers.
! Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Identify key drivers and use results to recommend changes and identify areas for improvement.
! Give consultation and take part on cross-functional teams to address business issues. Will drive cross functional teams on small and medium size projects.
! Architects and produces datasets and reports for testing using system reporting tools that improves the enterprise’s ability to generate performance insights.

Bring your passion and expertise

! Masters in a relevant field like Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics is preferred.
! Preferred 7+ years experience in three or more of the following areas of discipline: Transportation Management; Trade & Safety Compliance; Forecast and Replenishment Methodologies; Manufacture or Brand Management Planning; Distribution / Material Handling; Retail Store Product Logistics.
! Preferred certification in Lean / Six Sigma.
! Knowledge of the methods of optimization and how optimization is performed using software packages (example Llamasoft).
! Familiarity with planning, forecasting, transportation, inventory management, and strategic sourcing.
! A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain from an accredited institution.
! 5+ years experience data mining and extraction skills like; SQL, Python, R.
! Demonstrates a proven aptitude of Statistics.
! Has developed business cases that use hard data analysis and demonstrates aptitude with key corporate financial methods such as IRR, ROI, Depreciation, etc.
! Ability to examine and/or design processes that can scale to meet targets and develop measurements to control these processes.
! Show the ability to manage many simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills.
! Expertise in Excel, Tableau, and/or other data-backed and data visualization platforms.
! Proven track record of cultivating proven relationships with key stakeholders that have resulted in high customer satisfaction.
! Participates and partners with others on one's own team and across REI for the achievement of business goals.
! Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions to help the direction taken by others at REI.
! Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities.
! Consolidates information from various sources including feedback from others to reach sound outcomes.
! Considers the ultimate impact of choices and actions on internal and external customers.
! Works smart by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and planning to produce quality work.
! Executes by using resources, meeting deadlines, and keeping others informed of work plans and progress toward goals.
! Conveys and receives information by a variety of methods and in various situations.
! Builds rapport and acts on opportunities and involves and influences others in the accomplishment of worthwhile organizational goals.
! Challenges the status quo, champions change and influences others to change.

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location or other relevant factors.

The pay for this role is: $83700 - $134000 per year .
