This role administers systems though hands-on maintenance of system master data and configuration. The position leverages knowledge and experience to perform complex problem solving and act as a change agent to drive optimal adoption of system and associated processes. • Provides day-to-day system support to a large, geographically dispersed group of end users • Troubleshoots basic and complex issues involving cross divisional and external partners as needed • Creates and maintains documentation and other training materials ensuring consistent and optimal standards • Maintains and optimizes master data to support system in alignment with business requirements • Configures system to support business requirements, best practices and solution standards leveraging cross divisional and external partners • Reviews new requirements and/or new functionality and inputs on implementation and associated change management • Evaluates supplier fit within the Ariba program based on ROI for both REI and supplier guiding internal and external parties towards optimal enablement • Proactively works to enhance knowledge of systems, processes and best practice • Leverages knowledge and experience to drive optimal system utilization and adoption • Drives process improvement leveraging lean Six Sigma methodology • Configures and provides reporting needs to support key performance indicator (KPI) metrics and other reporting as needed by the business • Actively participates in defining and executing program projects within team and cross divisionally with clear structure. Bring your passion and expertise • 2+ year of business-facing systems experience, ideally source-to-pay systems • 1+ year of Ariba system administration experience. Other Ariba experience useful as well • Experience as a team member on complex projects • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain, Finance or an IT discipline or comparable work experience • Understanding of source-to-pay processes and interdependencies • Knowledge of source-to-pay workflow and configuration • Ability to drive cross-functional change • Consolidates information and feedback from various sources to propose optimal next steps for system changes, process changes and user change management • Intermediate knowledge of foundational software (Microsoft Office, etc.) • Proven ability to participate in training and documentation efforts • Actively participate in process improvement by identifying opportunities, proposing solutions and driving change while leveraging and defining standards • Intrinsically motivated to hold oneself to high standards including strong attention to detail and great personal accountability • Respectfully collaborates effectively with others focusing on outcomes while building rapport with a wide variety of people • Ability to flex communication method and style to effectively convey and receive information with different audiences • Effectively interact with both technical and non-technical audiences to communicate both process requirements and system functionality • Actively seeks input but requires limited monitoring and direction for day-to-day priorities and deadlines • Acts as an effective change agent by evangelizing REI and industry best practices • Courageously embraces change remaining flexible in one's viewpoints to support the direction taken by REI while also appropriately challenging the status quo • Combines knowledge and experience to problem solve complex problems • Applies creative problem solving while also evaluating impacts work has to other people and systems and effectively weighs these into decision making At REI we offer an enviable work environment that has been recognized on the "100 Best Companies to Work For" list since the award's inception – 22 years in a row!
