This senior level Supply Chain Analyst contributes to REI’s success by providing for the development, implementation and execution of the company’s product flow capabilities specific to Vendor Inventory Fulfillment (VIF: also known as Vendor Dropship). This senior level analyst position will work collaboratively within the Vendor Operations team to provide leadership in review of tactical business processes or system and ownership/management of the VIF program. They will also work in setting future plans and strategic efforts, identify and execute future project phases and develop communication pieces that engage and educate the co-op. Models and acts in accordance with REI’s guiding values and mission.

! Accountable for the vendor onboarding process to connect vendors with DSCO and lead any Q&A issues
! Accountable, in partnership with finance and OMS, for visibility and resolution of any invoice issues to include communicating with vendors
! Insures customer service levels are met through accountability for the review and resolution of any vendor performance issues (on time shipping SLA’s) escalating to merchandising partners as needed
! Drives revenue generation through accountability for knowledge and analysis of product performance (review of item performance and influence Merchant decision making)
! Supports the generation of weekly/monthly reports to provide insights on the program (merchants, leaders, vendors)
! Supports monthly control board creation to provide accountability on revenue, profit and service metrics. Influences decisions to reflect changes to these results
! Accountable for vendor documents and processes (VIF contract updates)
! Serves as DSCO account owner including troubleshooting between REI and DSCO systems
! Supports REI and DSCO technology teams ! Consults on VIF budget planning and organizational awareness
! Consults with cross divisional partners to align VIF annual SKU count growth with co-op strategies and influences how teams prepare to support growth
! Leads conversation on broader VIF execution for alignment with cross divisional partners (Strategy for VIF item placement on search results, New category direction, Roll out of additional VIF capabilities)
! Supports building requirements and planning resources for future VIF capabilities
! Cost management: Consults with Parcel Management team on current delivery status as well as future planned volume to align on the best decisions to meet customer needs and balance organizational costs

Bring your passion and expertise

! A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Logistics
! 7+ years of experience in retail analytics, merchandising analytics and/or vendor management with demonstrated skill in executing business strategies
! 3+ years of experience with systems and technology while driving effective change leadership for project implementations
! Advanced process Improvement skills: Certification in LEAN, Six Sigma or Kaizen
! Advanced skills in Microsoft (MS) Excel
! Intermediate skills in MS PowerPoint
! Intermediate skills and experience with Visual Basic Script, SAP, Manhattan Associates (WM), AS400 i-series
! Actively participates and collaborates with others on one's own team and across REI for the achievement of business goals
! Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions in order to support the direction taken by others at REI
! Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities
! Consolidates information from various sources including feedback from others to reach sound decisions
