This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to learn more about merchandising systems and processes at REI! This job contributes to REI’s success by providing Merchandising’s assortment planning teams with assortment data entry and management to ensure new stores are set up with accurate styles. You will manage and organize large amounts of data, and coordinate with other team members on impacts of their work and hand-offs.

! Enters assortment information from copy stores to new stores in the assortment planning tool (Aptos).
! Ensures copy store and new store information is accurate by developing processes for checking data.
! Communicates timelines for completion and process for informing Merchandising partners about new store information that will impact their assorting.
! Works closely with new store team and Sr. Assortment Analyst to coordinate timelines and handoffs.
! Other duties as assigned.

Bring your passion and expertise

1-2 years merchandising, retail or direct sales experience preferred.
College degree preferred.
PC proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Explorer.
Proven ability to process numerical data entry for extended periods of time with a high degree of accuracy.
Actively participates and collaborates with others on one's own team and across REI for the achievement of business goals.
Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions in order to support the direction taken by others at REI.
Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities.
