Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Job Description:

Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, documents and maintains applications systems. Gathers, analyzes and translates business and non-functional requirements into a solution design. Defines business requirements and technical solutions, manages tasks, estimates resources, and prioritizes work. Designs, develops to specifications and maintains application code in accordance with the current development and project management methodologies and practices. Prepares required documentation for the portion of work assigned. Consults with Quality Assurance and business analysts in the development and execution of test plans. Provides technical assistance and problem resolution for assigned systems. Resolves production support problems and incidents in accordance with problem and incident management policies and procedures. Ensures that applications changes follow change management policies and procedures. Provides technical guidance to ensure that installed systems are working effectively and that proposed systems will meet organization’s future needs. Prepares periodic and ad hoc status reports for each assignment for department manager and project manager. Identifies and provides recommendations for system process improvements. Must participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 service.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent; and five years of experience designing SAP landscape and delivering SAP implementation, migration, and support projects. This must include five years of experience in each of the following:

1.Installing, upgrading, and maintaining SAP systems and integrating SAP with other SAP and non-SAP systems, and conducting BPP while preparing BBP documents.

2.Utilizing SAP NetWeaver 7.3 or higher, Oracle 11g or higher, RHEL6 or higher, VMWare ESX5.5 or higher, Business Intelligence 4.2 or higher, HTTP(S), SAP Handheld Application for IS Retail, SSL, and Fiori.

3.Performing PI Post Installations and Proxy Configurations and designing logical systems from any combination of both SAP to PI and SAP to MII as an SAP Basis set-up.

4.Performing SAP Exchange Infrastructure/PI administration and integration to cloud platforms, including with any combination of Web Services, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, IDOC, RFC, and/or SAP R3/PROXY.

5. Utilizing ALE, Partner Profiles, RFC, Logical Systems, BAPI RFC's, Exits, BDC and BAdI, and ABAP Proxies.

6. Designing technical solutions that operate efficiently in high data volume scenarios (i.e., Tier 1 System (<30minute MTTR failover) for 10+ TB Disk Size).

7. Utilizing advanced message mapping, Java, XSLT, and ABAP.

8. Utilizing Enterprise Service Repository including runtime, pipeline, and execution environment, monitoring, and trace tools.

Experience may be gained concurrently. Must be willing and able to participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 service. Position is eligible for REI Employee Referral Program.
