The Offer Management Program Specialist contributes to REI’s success by leading operational execution of enterprise business rules on digital platforms. ?
This position requires knowledge of best business practices and procedures to define, develop and champion processes and procedures for program execution. This position represents the Digital division in enterprise promotional execution planning on a cross-divisional team that manages the operational execution of all promotions and offers, to ensure a consistent customer experience across all channels.
Serves as subject matter expert for digital capabilities and manages relationships with internal stakeholders and staff from concept through delivery of promotions. This role provides administration of Business Rules solutions.
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong business acumen, excellent oral and written communication and the ability to use critical thinking skills to proactively problem-solve, mitigate business risk and assure deliverables meet project timelines.
Responsible for implementation of programs or projects that support organizational objectives.
Operational execution of enterprise business rules on digital and enterprise platforms. Primary focus on enterprise offer management.
Strong skills in project management and process improvement – Jira experience a plus!
Requires knowledge of business practices and procedures relating to customer purchasing path
SME for digital offer management capabilities. Represent Digital viewpoint in Enterprise discussions
Manages communication with internal stakeholders
Provide oversight and root cause analysis of issues, opportunities and key wins affecting program performance and communicate to management and stakeholders.
Execute promotional support for events.
Represents Digital division in enterprise promotional execution planning on a cross-divisional team (EIE) that manages the operational execution of all promotions and offers, to ensure a consistent customer experience across all channels.
Partners with cross-divisional teams to ensure plans and timelines are aligned, and planned projects are delivered and meet business objectives. Develop and maintain all communications to cross-divisional partners on executing offers, where applicable.
Bring your passion and expertise
3+ years of Digital Retail experience with a Digital Retail/multi-channel retailer.
2+ years project management & process improvement.
Experience with SharePoint, SQL, Business Objects, REI Business Rules Tool (BRT) preferred.
Knowledge of key merchandising, marketing business principles specific to Digital Retail.
Proven problem solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection.
Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans.
Experience with web-based analytical tools such as: CoreMetrics, Omniture Site Catalyst, Business Objects or similar demand driven solution preferred.
Builds rapport with all kinds of people inside and outside the organization.
Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction and altering priorities
