REI is seeking a highly organized, independent, results-driven, and passionate professional to support the organization’s headquarters. The Campus Services Program Manager contributes to REI’s success by efficiently performing a wide variety of Campus Services operations and activities. This role designs, manages and implements programs for the headquarters employees and provides ongoing assessment of continuous operating excellence. This includes developing budgets and strategy for various campus services not limited to food service programs, alternative commuting, onsite amenities, and business center services. Cross divisional partnerships will be key in identifying resources and defining scope as well as managing teams through execution. Ongoing management will include ensuring continued success of continuous programs and regularly reevaluating for improved success, cost savings opportunities and first-class employee experience. Provides strategic insight for campus mail, copy, courier, print management, and transportation programs including vanpool programs and electric vehicle charging systems. Acts as subject matter expert and primary point of contact for café and catering and other campus services programs supporting REI corporate facilities. This role must have extremely strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational and time management skills with the highest level of customer service. This role will have exposure to leaders of all levels and will be responsible for building and leading program presentations as needed. The ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests is critical. This position requires a highly motivated individual to act as a liaison between campus services and key stakeholders, including vendors and REI employees alike. This job is key in anticipating the needs of the internal customers while being adaptive to the evolving demands of a rapidly growing company. Design, manage and implement Campus Services Programs at new satellite locations that support employees, creates fun, interesting, and engaging programs to expand awareness and troubleshoot issues
Oversee and iterate Campus Services including but not limited to copy/mail/courier services, transportation services, EV chargers, café, vending and catering services at REI headquarter locations
Evaluates and identifies gaps in processes and delivery and new service delivery opportunities
Manage vendor contracting, scopes of work, and ongoing reporting, quality control and performance Identify risks, cost savings and employee experience opportunities and present recommendations for program improvements
Partner with procurement in scheduling and participating in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) for all Campus Services vendors
Manages weekly or bi-weekly meetings with vendors and support as needed
Develop request for proposals for program vendors
Facilitate proposal evaluation and awards
Oversees vendor management including acting as liaison between vendors and Corporate Services department, vetting vendors with procurement, vendor list management and invoice & billing per contract terms
Manages and maintains contract agreements for correct signing authority, for any special invoicing requirements and assign responsibility for completion of all additional information required for invoicing
Leads cross-divisional collaboration with REI communications, human resources and benefits, and change management teams to ensure the Campus Services Programs are well supported, communicated, and integrated into the organization’s broader goals and initiatives
Partners with leadership to develop performance metrics and tracking protocols to build programs that are cost effective, supportive of goals, and beneficial to the employee experience
Create reporting and tracking mechanisms as needed
Oversee project teams in managing and tracking all costs and expenditures, including future projections of ongoing programs with no end date
Ensure strong partnership with REI public relations team to engage with communities to advocate for service, infrastructure, and other amenities on behalf of REI
Educate, recruit and manage employee enrollment and occasional administrative details as needed to ensure the programs meets goals and operates smoothly

Bring your passion and expertise

! 5 years prior program management
! Demonstrate skills, ability to assess resource / vendor need, reporting, budgeting
! Minimum 5 years vendor management experience Previous experience in a Campus services / facilities role
! Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including business, marketing, communications, urban/transportation planning, human resources, sustainability, or related field
! Ability to operate a personal computer using Windows
! Possesses or actively pursuing PMP, LEAN, Six Sigma certification/training
! Ability to work independently in a flexible schedule in hybrid work environment
! Ability to meet or exceed attendance requirements, providing reliable and predictable attendance
! Ability to comprehend and perform all job function in assigned department
! Ability to work between various satellite locations in the Puget Sound region
! Actively participates and collaborates with others on one's own team and across REI for the achievement of business goals.
! Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions in order to support the direction taken by others at REI
