About the job
Thousand is on the lookout for a stellar Sales Manager to strengthen the foundation of our wholesale business. You'll focus on managing our largest retail account (REI), growing our existing specialty wholesale account base, and heightening service and sell through among existing retailers.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
• Grow our domestic wholesale sales channel by 40-50 new accounts in strategic markets (Identify, close, and onboard accounts)
• Improve sell thru by 20% for existing accounts (100 accounts) by building deep relationships with buyers, improving our POP/dealer program, coordinating onsite events/product training for retailers.
• Manage and oversee domestic and international wholesale accounts across specialty, big box, bike, and lifestyle accounts
• Manage 3 independent sales reps in the U.S. (set goals, train, travel, develop), and 1 sales coordinator
• Oversee sell through numbers for wholesale base, ensure inventory is fully stocked, and accounts are supported
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
• Enforce MAP policies, and build out pricing guidelines in international and domestic markets
• Travel domestically up to 25% of the time; Participate in 2-5 events/tradeshows a year
• Reports to the CEO
