Thousand is looking for a creative and analytical Head of Growth that lives on the intersection of brand building and growth marketing. This person will be responsible for scaling current owned channels (email, social, PR, PPC, and Amazon), new channels (paid acquisition with FB and Instagram), and optimizing conversion (oversee all interactions on the direct site) . We’re on the lookout for a highly strategic thinker who can dramatically scale Thousand’s impact and digital team within the next 3 years. This is a cornerstone hire for Thousand, and will be responsible for driving top-revenue growth, and building a best in class digital brand and team. This person will have P&L ownership over the digital department and be the first member of Thousand’s leadership team.
What You'll Do
⏵ Formulate and guide Thousand’s 3 yr. digital growth strategy
⏵ Everything from defining scalable customer acquisition & retention strategies to allocating resources to scale effectively
⏵ Build new customer acquisition funnels within paid marketing channels/ campaigns; manage an agency/ or in-house media buyer to hit ROAS and growth goals
⏵ Own and scale a million + dollar budget, allocate spend, and define channel mix to hit growth targets + brand building goals
⏵ Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey; define how to grow each channel (owned and paid) , and formulate a strategy on how and when we should talk to each audience
⏵ Work collaboratively with the creative team to ensure we’re building a best in class brand and telling stories that people care about, while scaling top line revenue growth
⏵ Define and launch best in class digital experiences that will enhance customer experience, and improve conversion rates
⏵ Develop and implement a testing framework for all creative, landing pages, and channels
⏵ Build an analytics team to lead ROI reporting, marketing effectiveness for campaigns and channels, A/B test, funnel analysis, and building appropriate attribution models
⏵ Manage an existing team of 2, with room to hire 3 more staff to scale growth in the next 18 months; Coach and recruit internal team members and hire best-in-class external partners

⏵ A strong problem solver/strategic thinker- you balance priorities to achieve the best long term outcomes and model scenarios to optimize on-going performance with grace and ease
⏵ An entrepreneurial and collaborative leader excited about building out a best in class digital brand and team
⏵ 6+ years experience in analytics and/or marketing. Experience in a rapidly scaling DTC brand is a big plus
⏵ Significant focus and experience in acquisition and performance marketing
⏵ Significant experience buying within paid online channels (i.e. FB, Instagram, PPC, Amazon)
⏵ Deep knowledge of best in class tools, best practices, and vendors within the digital space
